The first MYKITA premises were settled in a former children’s daycare called “Kita” in German. This inspired the name “My Kita” and the brand’s culture of curiosity and play. MYKITA’s guiding principle is that technical concepts—like their iconic spiral hinge—are also beautiful. The brand’s ‘modern manufactory’ principle combines handcraft and high-technology processes under a single roof.
