Tired of Glasses Fogging Up?
Safely wear a face mask without fogging up your glasses with three tips from InVision opticians.
Tip #1: Keep the seal around the top of your mask as tight as possible (an internal wire is essential!)
A mask that fits well keeps the warm air from exiting and fogging up your glasses. In a pinch, you can pull your mask up higher on your nose and use your glasses to seal it to better fit your face and keep your lenses fog free.
Tip #2: Clean your glasses with InVision lens cleaner.
The spray cleaner gently removes oil and dirt from your lenses and leaves behind a thin film that acts as a barrier to keep the lenses from fogging up.
Tip #3: Wipe your glasses with a clean microfiber cloth.
InVision cleaning cloths are machine washable, but don’t use fabric softener or dryer sheets that can often coat the fibers of the cloth and make them less effective.
We know there are a lot of anti-fog sprays on the market, however, none of them are very effective on coated lenses. Stick to these tips and you’ll be seeing clearly while safely masked up.
If your glasses aren’t fitting like they used to, or if you find yourself struggling to see with your current vision prescription, schedule a one-on-one appointment with our optician or optometrists. We’ll also be sure to send you home with a bottle of InVision lens cleaner and cleaning cloth!
